Caen la mer’s ice rink
Located in the heart of Caen, next to the Eugène-Maës swimming stadium, the olympic ice rink welcomes you on a 1 800 square meter (19 375 square ft) track from september to june.
Multiple leisure activities on ice are available for everyone : ice skating lessons, animations, theme parties and family sessions on Sunday mornings. The ice rink is also fully accessible for people with impaired mobility.

Figure ice skating
ACSEL (The Caen Figure Skating and synchronized) is :
- Ice school for chidren, teenagers and adults
- The competitive figure ice skating section
- The synchronized ice skating
Ice hockey
The Ice Hockey Club of Caen is :
- The Ice Hockey school (4-11 years old)
- The sports class section
- Leisure
And the Drakkars team which has been playing in Division 1 since 2015.
Gloves are mandatory
Shorts and skirts are prohibited
Mittens and long scarves are prohibited
The ice rink is closed in July and August.
Good to know
- Skate rental from size 25 to 49 (possibility to rent scooters until 25).
- Opening of the cash desks outside public sessions (to reload your admition card, buy CE cards, reserve and pay for a birthday party outside of public sessions):
• Wednesday from 9AM to 12PM ;
• Friday from 1:30PM to 5PM in the event of an evening event on the same day. - Pre-sale of tickets at the box office 30 minutes before the opening of the public session and opening of the changing rooms 15 minutes before. Entrance tickets delivery suspended 30 minutes before the closing of the track.
- Means of payment accepted: cash, checks, bank cards, ANCV holiday vouchers.
- The establishment is closed on the following public holidays: January 1, May 1, November 1 and December 25.
